Centre for Sexual and Reproductive Health (GREECE)
In 2005 the CSRH continued to hold its annual film festival for the 5th year focussing on sexual health. They have launched a T-Shirt campaign and a video game on sexual and reproductive health. Surveys on "Sexuality and adolescenc", "Sexual behaviour and the elderly" and "Sexual attitudes among medical and paramedical students" were conducted and the results have been released or published. Educational programmes on sexuality and sexual health among pupils and parentless teenagers were released and are still taking place. Other recent activities include:
- Creation of two TV spots that have received very positive remarks, one promoting sexual health and the other one encouraging people with SD to seek medical advice, (received an award for the best national health campaign in 2002)
- They have co-organized a competition for young creators of advertisement's with the theme of the help line.
- A new web site, the first official Greek site on sexual health will be launched under the auspices of the Ministry of Makedonia and Thrace.
In addition to these activities, CSRH has held 16 clinical workshops for 600 GPs and extensive seminars on sexuality for paramedics, nurses, lab technicians and midwives throughout Greece. Two workshops on sexual health have already been held specially for journalists covering health issues.
