SIA - SOCIETÀ ITALIANA DI ANDROLOGIA (ITALY)

The Italian Society of Andrology was constituted in Pisa on the 14th of February 1976. Its activity takes into account the technical-specialistic content of andrology as a subject studying, preventing and treating organic and functional dysfunction of male genital apparatus and couple sexuality.

The aim of the Italian Society of Andrology is to promote and foster studies and technical-scientific research in Andrology, even under a socio-anthropological point of view, allowing the development and the correct fulfilment of the professional activity in the field of Andrology.
The Official Journal of the Italian Society of Andrology is the Italian Journal of Sexual and Reproductive Medicine.
S.I.A. also edits the quarterly newsletter Andronews S.I.A.
The Society is structured in 9 macro-regional Sections, in order to allow better relationships with local institutions and a stronger territorial participation of the Society itself.
For the three-year period 2004-2007, these Sections are:

The XXII National Congress of the Italian Society of Andrology was held in Arzachena (Sassari) from 1st - 4th October 2005. The XXIII National Congress will be held in Milan.
