Dear Friends, Dear Collegues,

2022 virtual ESSM Congress took part unfortunately again as a virtual meeting due to the reiteration of Covid 19 pandemic. We have been forced to do it this way because conditions at the end of 2021 were still risky and so it hasn’t been possible to host a physical meeting also for the companies concern with regard of bringing people to Rotterdam.

Although these limitations linked to the virtual meeting, we are very happy and pleased because we reached a real successful outcome. The quality of the speakers was very high and they were able to animate the session interactions. The pharma and device companies have been once more very close to our Society and they really supported the meeting and the possibility to do it with great effort and significant consideration towards our scientific society.

The total number of the attendants was higher than 700 people, that is a very high amount for a virtual meeting. The quotation of our sessions was in the higher level between very satisfied and excellent: this demonstrated again that the work of the scientific committee done in order to offer a good scientific program was really very well accepted by people who attended the meeting.

It is a shame for everybody who hasn’t been able to follow the meeting and be sure not to do the same mistake next year. Our wish is to be able to finally come back in a physical congress.

Rotterdam is waiting for us since 2021! We are ready to be there and to come back to our normal congress activity: talking one each other in person, having a coffee together, shaking hands and sharing enriching moment all together.

We will work hardly to assure you an event with high-quality contents and top-level experts as usual in andrological field. We all look forward to hosting everyone in Rotterdam in 2023.
